Yes, I’m still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

I live with my husband and our kiddos in a house on a hill off a winding country road in the same part of the beautiful Bluegrass state that we were raised in, met in, and married in nearly fourteen years ago.

On any given day you’ll find me hanging at home sipping my morning cup of coffee long gone cold. I’ll likely be doing a sink full of dishes or a load of laundry while watching the babies play, facilitating school for my bigs, and dreaming up my next business venture.

Life around here is a little lot bit crazy and FAR from perfect but we’ve got Jesus in our hearts, a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and a whole lot of love – for those things I’m most thankful.

More than a place to share motherhood, to score a good deal, or to find a new recipe, my hope is that NBM becomes a rich source of positivity, encouragement, and laughter the midst of the craziness that is life.
